Pool Bag Essentials

I am calling this my pool bag because well I am a total pool girl, but honestly this could be called a beach bag as well.  My pool bag is a very important accessory to any all inclusive vacation, but could be used any time you go to a pool, lake or ocean.  I bought the bag pictured during our last trip to Mexico at the gift shop inside the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo, check out our review here. I love it because it is large, so everything fits in nicely and there’s a small zippered pocket on the inside as well.  We like to be prepared while out by the pool because once we get out there we usually don’t go back to our room until it’s time to get ready in the evening.

Entertainment is important of course, so a book and my phone are a must have.  My husband has to bring his headphones along so he can listen to an audio book or music.  We like to have at least one notepad in case we want to take notes.  Something we started to do is every morning we write down what we did the day before.  I like doing this as it will help me in the future to look back and see what we did while on vacation.  With all of our daily notes we were able to write a letter to my husband’s grandma, which really meant a lot to her.  Lens wipes come in really handy for cleaning your sunglasses when they inevitably get wet.  Hand sanitizer is very important to us (check out) and we’ll even throw some wipes in the bag so that we can wipe off the table under our grass hut.

Tip: While on your all inclusive vacation consider every morning writing down what you did the day before, so you can remember details that you might otherwise forget.
